
Lal Bilgili is a law clerk who recently completed her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School, where she was the Senior Editor of the Southern California Law Review. Lal also holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights from University College London. At the firm, Lal assists with matters concerning economic sanctions, export controls, customs, CFIUS, logistics, and national security related legal issues.
Lal previously worked as a summer associate and intern at several law firms in Los Angeles and Washington, DC, focusing on international trade law as well as with White & Case LLP in both London and Istanbul, where she assisted with multi-jurisdictional M&A and commercial transactions. Lal also worked as a legal intern at Credit Europe Bank in Moscow, Russia.
Lal also obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California in Political Science and Russian. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Lal speaks Turkish, English, French, and Russian.
